Job summary

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI, seeks a qualified Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform noninvasive vascular imaging and Doppler studies, and to report preliminary results to aid diagnosis. Under general supervision, you will evaluate studies, assist physicians, participate in research, and contribute to teaching residents and students.

The role requires RVT/ARDMS certification, an associate degree, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science or applied sciences or equivalent
• RVT/ARDMS/CCIRVS registration or registry-eligible with 12-month deadline
• Extra-cerebral and peripheral vascular focus preferred
• BLS Required

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive peripheral vascular imaging and Doppler studies.
• Interpret and report preliminary test results to aid diagnosis.
• Collaborate with physicians and residents; participate in teaching and research.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; contribute to process improvements.
