Michigan Medicine is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform a broad range of vascular examinations, including carotid, peripheral, venous, and arterial studies. You will operate ultrasound equipment, adapt protocols, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

The role requires an Associate degree from a CAAHEP-accredited program, BCLS within 3 months, and RVT or RVS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAAHEP-accredited vascular sonography program.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Certification as RVT by ARDMS or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
• Experience with non-invasive diagnostic procedures.
• Primary Source Verification required.

Responsabilités

• Perform vascular diagnostic procedures independently using ultrasound and other devices.
• Record and adapt vascular exams to obtain diagnostic information and images.
• Communicate diagnostic information to referring providers.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality during procedures.
• Assist with clinical education of students and residents.
