Qualifications

• Vascular certification from recognized bodies (CCI/ARDMS/ARRT).
• Active registered member CME requirements.
• BLS for Health Care Providers completed before independence.
• Proficient with computers.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health requirements preferred.
• Aggression management training prior to orientation.
• Other education/experience may substitute with HR approval.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized diagnostic ultrasound tasks and assist in detecting anatomical abnormalities.
• Verify orders and charging procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of PACS system and documentation.
• Transport patients with complete paperwork and coordination with health care personnel.

Education

Vascular certification (CCI/ARDMS/ARRT)
