Job summary

Requirements include RVT or RVS, BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and 0–2 years of vascular experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in vascular field required.
• BLS Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient in vascular department.
• Communicates and documents assessment findings to the physician.
• Meets or exceeds productivity standards defined by the department.
• Prioritizes workload to address acute needs first.
• Prepares reports and records of diagnostic procedures for reading physician.
