Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to cover open shifts across two EDs: Poinciana ED and Partin Settlement ED. You will obtain high-quality scans, follow exam protocols, and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred 2+ years vascular sonography, RVT/RT(VS)/RVS/RDMS and BLS certifications; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Join a faith-based system delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]
• Registered RVT/RT(VS)(ARRT) or RVS or RDMS [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Responsibilities

• Shift: PRN to cover open shifts (days/nights/weekends).
• Location: cover two EDs—Poinciana ED and Partin Settlement ED.
• Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols.
• Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before exams.
• Performs, documents, and reports all procedures per policy.
• Communicates with the multidisciplinary team and notifies physicians of abnormal findings.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and maintains infection control standards.
