Job summary

Northeast-Atlanta-Vascular-Care seeks a skilled vascular ultrasound technologist to support diagnostic and interventional imaging in a clinical center. You will interact with patients, physicians, and dialysis facilities as part of outreach initiatives and ensure high-quality imaging across procedures.

The role requires ARDMS RVT certification (or RVT registry in progress) and ACLS readiness, with emphasis on patient safety, accurate imaging, and collaborative care within a busy vascular team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing vascular ultrasound procedures across diagnostic and interventional settings.
• Strong emphasis on patient interaction and safety during imaging.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and radiation protection in imaging environments.
• ARDMS RVT certification required or RVT registry in process with strong clinical competence.
• ACLS certification required or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Performs ultrasound imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound.
• Exhibits professional judgment and maintains medical-ethical demeanor.
• Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views.
• Explains procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Operates C-Arm and other imaging equipment within scope of practice.
• Prepares images for radiologist/readers and maintains records.
