Job summary

Expected duties include imaging, data review, documentation, and collaboration with physicians. The position includes cross-training, on-site testing, and rotating call shifts with holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Certified as RVS (CCI) and RVT‑VT (ARDMS).
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Critique imaging quality by assessing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging per guidelines.
• Conduct a variety of vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights and weekends.
• Clean equipment and rooms between patients.
• Communicate patient history and exam findings clearly to physicians.
