Job summary

The CORE Institute in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, explain procedures to patients, ensure clear images, and operate equipment safely.

You will document findings, maintain EMR, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure patient comfort. Requirements include an associate degree in sonography, ARDMS, BLS, RVT/RVS, and 2–3 years hospital/clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in sonography from an accredited school.
• Current state and ARDMS certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• BLS certification.
• RVT or RVS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Explain sonographic procedures to patients, answer questions, and position patients.
• Ensure clear diagnostic images and adjust equipment as needed.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Select settings and patient positions; extend exam scope as needed per preliminary findings.
• Present sonograms and preliminary findings to physicians.
