Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our diagnostic team. You will explain procedures to patients, prepare them for exams, and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate assessments.

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings, monitoring patient safety, and presenting findings to Physicians. You will maintain EMR records and support the care team during procedures in a hospital/clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in sonography from an accredited school.
• Current ARDMS certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
• BLS Certification.
• RVT or RVS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Explain sonographic procedures to patients and prepare them for exams.
• Ensure clear images and adjust ultrasound equipment as needed.
• Select optimal settings and position patients accordingly.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Present sonograms and preliminary findings to physicians.
• Complete documentation and maintain patient EMR histories.
