Job summary

You will operate under physician supervision, delivering clinically relevant imaging and maintaining accurate documentation in line with policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive studies, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to quality assurance and accreditation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound.
• Registered with ARDMS or CCI in specialty areas.
• Maintains CME credits and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and peripheral vascular sonography with clinical expertise.
• Apply independent professional judgment to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
• Maintain accuracy of reports, databases, and logs.
• Provide patient services per Diagnostic Sonographer standards.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safe use of equipment.
• Monitor equipment for errors and report malfunctions to management.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Assist with accreditation and quality assurance projects.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team.
