Job summary

The CORE Institute in Gilbert, AZ seeks an experienced Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain accurate EMRs. You will operate ultrasound equipment, select settings, and collaborate with physicians to present preliminary findings.

Requirements include an associate degree in sonography, ARDMS certification, BLS, and RVT/RVS credentials, with 2–3 years hospital or clinic experience. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in sonography from an accredited program.
• Current state and ARDMS certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• BLS Certification is required.
• RVT or RVS credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Explain sonographic procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging.
• Ensure clear diagnostic images and adjust equipment as needed.
• Select settings and position patients appropriately.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Present sonograms and preliminary findings to physicians.
• Complete documentation and maintain patient EMR records.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Maintain and clean the sonographic equipment.
• Maintain supplies and participate in quality checks.
