Job summary

Aultman Health System in Canton, OH, seeks a Lead Vascular Sonographer to provide clinical leadership in our accredited outpatient vascular laboratory.

The role blends advanced vascular ultrasound expertise with daily operational leadership, staff mentoring, and ongoing IAC accreditation compliance for quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will drive best practices, participate in peer review, and collaborate with vascular surgeons to support growth and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS credential required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum three years vascular ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical leader for the vascular laboratory.
• Mentor, coach, and onboard new sonographers.
• Perform competency assessments and provide ongoing feedback.
• Promote consistency in vascular ultrasound protocols.
• Assist with workflow optimization and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with physicians and management.
• Participate in leadership meetings and departmental planning.
