Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a full-time Sr. Vascular Technologist for its IAC-accredited Vascular Lab in Boston.

The role includes supervising staff, mentoring, and performing advanced non-invasive vascular studies under the medical director and supervising physician. Requirements include ARDMS RVT certification (or registry within 24 months), a bachelor’s/associate degree in vascular tech or ultrasound plus an accredited certificate, and 4–5 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Vascular Tech/Ultrasound, or BS/AS plus certificate in vascular ultrasound.
• ARDMS RVT certification or registry within 24 months.
• Minimum 4–5 years of vascular ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular studies (arterial/venous, carotid, transcranial) with accurate documentation.
• Mentor and supervise sonography staff and students.
• Ensure adherence to ARDMS standards and IAC accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other health professionals to optimize patient care.
• Lead quality assurance and contribute to department process improvements.
