Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join the team on a full-time/part-time/PRN basis. The role involves performing abdominal, OB/GYN, general, and vascular ultrasound procedures, working closely with physicians and radiologists, and supporting student sonographers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent experience, ARDMS eligibility with RVT preferred,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) or 1 year DMS school with 2 years of experience (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular).
• ARDMS eligible; RVT credential preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, general ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and assist in education of student sonographers.

Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (or Vascular Sonographer) include but are not limited to:

• Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, general ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Serve as role model for teamwork and professionalism collaboration with physicians, (most importantly the radiologists) and in the development of student sonographers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) or 1 year DMS school with 2 years of experience (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular)
• ARDMS eligible; RVT credential preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
