Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA seeks a vascular ultrasound technologist to perform vascular ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, and operate ultrasound equipment. You will document findings and communicate with physicians to support patient care.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree, BLS certification, and RDMS/RVT credentials with ARDMS preferred; prior vascular ultrasound experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials; ARDMS preferred.
  • Prior experience in vascular ultrasound is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations and prepare patients.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and transducers to acquire vascular images.
  • Interpret images to identify vascular abnormalities and document findings.
  • Communicate exam results to physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality of care.
