Description

In conjunction with the Medical Director, Director of Cardiopulmonary/Neuro diagnostics and the Lead Cardiology Specialist, this position provides direct care of patients, ages new born through geriatric, with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the heart. The position has responsibilities mainly in the performance of various non-invasive cardiovascular exams and non-invasive vascular exams for the diagnosis of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and peripheral arterial diseases.

The position has responsibilities mainly in the performance of various non-invasive cardiovascular exams and non-invasive vascular exams for the diagnosis of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and peripheral arterial diseases.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in Course in Vascular Technology
• Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months of Vascular Scanning experience to include Peripheral Arterial/Venous and Cerebrovascular studies.
