Required Skills

• Technical skills in radiography and fluoroscopy
• Knowledge of vasculature and organ systems
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures
• Proficiency with contrast agents, stents, PTA catheters, wires, guide sheaths, thrombectomy, atherectomy, and thrombolysis equipment
• Patient care and assessment skills
• Understanding of radiation physics, biology, protection, and medical terminology
• Accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques
• Effective communication skills

Required Experience

• CRT and/or ARRT certification
• Fluoroscopy permit
• CPR/BLS certification
• At least 2 years of hospital or clinic radiological procedures experience

Preferred Experience

• Angiography training (preferred)
• ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (preferred)
