This position will support the Westwood and Santa Monica regions, primarily in the Westwood Campus area, providing patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves participation in on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules, as well as rotating shifts as needed.

In this role, you will:
- Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of patients and families.
- Use independent judgment to produce diagnostic images of human anatomy using ultrasound systems for referring providers and interpreting physicians, identifying anatomy and pathology.
- Extend courtesy to patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, adhering to our "World Class Practices" Service Standards.
Staff Sonographer Requirements:
- 1-2 years of hospital/acute care experience.
- Active RDMS certification in one specialty (e.g., Abdomen or OB-GYN).
- Graduate of a CAAHAP-accredited ultrasound program (strongly preferred).
- Salary Range: $55.94 - $73.81 hourly.
Senior Sonographer (External candidates):
- Minimum of four years of hospital/acute care experience.
- Active RDMS certification in three specialties: Abdomen, OB-GYN, and RVT.
- Proficiency in Abdomen, OB-GYN, Pediatric, and Vascular Sonography, including interventional procedures.
- Graduate of a CAAHAP-accredited ultrasound school (strongly preferred).
- Salary Range: $62.43 - $76.12 hourly.

Staff Ultrasound Technologist
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience (required).
- RDMS credential in one specialty (Abdomen or OBGYN) (required).
Senior Ultrasound Technologist
- 4 years of prior acute care hospital experience (required).
- RDMS credential in Abdomen, OBGYN, and RVT (required).
- Experience in Breast Ultrasound Imaging (strongly preferred).
General Requirements
- BLS/CPR Certification (required).
- Graduate of a CAAHAP ultrasound program (strongly preferred).
- AAS or higher in Medical Sonography (preferred).
- RDMS (AB or OBGYN) (minimum requirement).
- Advanced skills in Vascular and/or MSK ultrasound (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction.
- Ability to follow instructions and employ independent decision-making.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Basic typing skills for data entry into RIS and HIS systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedure differentiation.
