Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer relations.
• Familiar with CPT/ICD coding, EMR and practice management software.
• X-ray, venipuncture, EKG and CLIA-waived tests knowledge.
• Ability to sit for long periods; good hearing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs.
• Draw blood and perform EKGs and X-rays as ordered.
• Administer injections and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist with minor procedures and manage medication records.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and ensure continuity of care.
• Handle front office duties and screen calls not requiring physician.
• Support physicians and clinic staff with timely patient communication.
