Jackson Hospital and Clinic in Montgomery, AL seeks a full-time Patient Care Coordinator RN for the Urology Clinic. The role supports the medical plans of care, educates patients and families, and coordinates care with physicians and the clinic team.

The RN must hold a current Alabama license, have strong communication skills, and be able to perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and injections while maintaining accurate documentation and patient education. CPR certification is required.

Qualificações

• Current Alabama RN license required.
• BSN or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of physician office experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to lift/move patients and to work in a clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine nursing functions and diagnostic procedures to support medical plans of care.
• Coordinate patient care including patient/family education to ensure quality care.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs and health data.
• Draw blood, perform EKGs and X-rays as ordered by the physician.
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with minor procedures.
• Document in EMR to meet Meaningful Use guidelines and communicate with the care team.
