Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant to join Atlantic Vascular. The PA will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across multiple hospital sites with travel to AMG Freehold and Old Bridge locations, and to Morristown Medical Center as needed.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnostic testing, perioperative care, and discharge planning, with call on weeknights and weekends and a workload of roughly 40–60 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and PA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations including Morristown, Rockaway, Pompton Plains, Bridgewater, Clark AMG, Chilton, Newton and Overlook Medical Centers.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under physician direction and educate on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and collect medical history and data.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, labs).
• Perform procedures (injections, suturing, wound care).
• Develop and implement patient management plans and postoperative orders.
• Coordinate pre-operative evaluations and perioperative requirements.
