Qualifications

• MD degree with current Board certification, or eligibility for certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Texas Medical Board full license or ABS board certification in Vascular Surgery.
• ACGME-accredited residency and eligible to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at the UTRGV School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in vascular surgery and endovascular therapy.
• Lead and grow a vascular division with collaborations across affiliated hospitals.
• Drive clinical program development and regional referral growth.
• Advance a sustainable research enterprise with clinical trials and translational research.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain faculty while supporting education of residents and medical students.
