Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform open and endovascular procedures (carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization).
• Collaborate with Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery teams for multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in teaching and academic activities with affiliated medical school.

Practice Vascular Surgery in South Texas with Semi-Tropical Weather

A leading healthcare system in South Texas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing, academically affiliated surgical practice. Scope of Practice:

• The Vascular Surgeon will provide comprehensive care for patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders, including:
• Full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures (carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization, dialysis access, venous interventions)
• Collaboration with Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery teams for multidisciplinary care
• Participation in shared call coverage coordinated with the hospital
• Opportunities for academic engagement through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine
