Job summary

The role supports residents and medical/nursing students and delivers services in compliance with state law and professional standards, contributing to departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing or physician assistant program
• National certification by recognized APRN certification center or PA certification
• West Virginia licensure or eligibility for licensure
• RNFA certification for First Assist in OR (where applicable)
• BLS certification with ACLS as needed

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for vascular surgery patients.
• Performs rounds, pre-procedure evaluations, and perioperative management.
• Documents plans of care and coordinates discharge planning.
• Collaborates with vascular surgery faculty and other teams to ensure patient outcomes.
• Participates in education of residents and medical/nursing students.
