Job summary

Ascension’s St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a physician to join as a PRN provider in a busy surgery setting. You’ll work with a strong referral base and the full resources of a large health system.

Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates with MD/DO and prescriptive authority are required, with ALS preferred. This role offers stability within Ascension’s nationwide Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA or Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients within your assigned clinical area, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Actively participate in clinical initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, care delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
• Join an established team of physicians and APPs in a surgery setting with robotics access.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
