Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a qualified Vascular Sonographer to support a busy vascular surgery practice. The role covers two sites: Tampa and Wesley Chapel, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and travel between offices as needed.

Responsibilities include performing abdominal, vascular and OB/Gyn ultrasounds, ensuring exam accuracy, and collaborating with clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Vascular sonography expertise including abdomen, OB/Gyn, small parts, vascular and interventional procedures is required.
• Ability to learn and master AGFA PACS and related computer systems.
• Must communicate effectively with diverse populations and work independently.
• Must read/write English and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of PACS and related equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the vascular surgery practice across two office locations.
• Attend department meetings to support objectives.
• Obtain high-quality scans following exam protocols and adapt as needed.
• Document and report procedures per policy; ensure accuracy with patient identifiers.
