Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer to join a busy vascular surgery practice serving patients at two Tampa area offices (Tampa and Wesley Chapel). The role offers a consistent Monday-Friday day shift schedule with no nights or weekends and comprehensive benefits from day one.

As a RVT/RTVS/RVS, you will perform high-quality vascular and abdominal ultrasound studies, collaborate with physicians, and help ensure accurate, timely patient imaging across both locations.

Qualifications

• RV T/RTVS/ARRT or RVS certification valid.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience performing venous ultrasound Doppler procedures.
• Ability to travel between Tampa and Wesley Chapel sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations per protocol.
• Conduct vascular and venous Doppler studies.
• Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound.
• Adapt techniques to patient condition and needs.
• Confirm patient and exam accuracy using two identifiers.
• Document and report procedures per policy.
• Obtain and maintain diagnostic-quality images.
• Utilize PACS and imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support workflow.
• Attend department meetings and support team objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Registered Vascular Sonographer, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of a busy vascular surgery practice. You'll work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and patients to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and help create an exceptional patient experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations while following established exam protocols.
• Perform vascular and venous ultrasound Doppler procedures.
• Perform abdominal, abdominal Doppler, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, and interventional sonographic procedures.
• Adapt examination techniques based on each patient's medical condition and needs.
• Confirm patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before performing examinations.
• Accurately perform, document, and report procedures in accordance with departmental policies.
• Obtain and maintain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Utilize PACS and associated imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and patients to support efficient practice workflow.
• Attend department meetings and contribute positively to team objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), OR
• Registered Technologist – Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)), OR
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Experience performing venous ultrasound Doppler procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty practice
• Ability to work across both designated office locations

Preferred

• 5+ years of vascular sonography experience
• Experience with PACS, including AGFA PACS
• Experience with abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts, and interventional sonography
