Job summary

Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood seeks Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach in vascular technology at the Lex Walters Campus or six county centers. The role may include daytime or evening classes and online instruction; opportunities arise as teaching needs appear.

You will deliver high-quality didactic and lab instruction, guide students through noninvasive vascular scanning protocols, administer exams, and help align curriculum with JRC-CVT and CAAHEP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related health science field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical vascular scanning experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality didactic (lecture) and laboratory instruction.
• Guide students through noninvasive vascular scanning protocols and anatomy.
• Construct, administer, and grade written and practical scanning examinations; evaluate techniques and reporting capabilities.
• Instruct students on equipment optimization, transducer care, and safety standards.
• Assist the Program Director in updating the curriculum, syllabi, and competency checklists.
• Serve as a professional team member supporting the College's mission.
