Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach vascular technology at the Lex D. Walters Campus or six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville and McCormick. Positions may include daytime, evening, online, and dual credit offerings.

Responsibilities include didactic and lab instruction, guiding students through vascular protocols and anatomy, administering exams, and updating curricula to align with JRC‑CVT and CAAHEP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Minimum two years of full‑time clinical vascular scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality didactic and laboratory instruction.
• Guide students through noninvasive vascular scanning protocols and anatomy.
• Construct, administer, and grade examinations and assessments.
• Evaluate student techniques and reporting capabilities.
• Assist in updating curriculum and competencies to align with guidelines.
