Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Exams include carotid, AAA, ABI, renal, venous and arterial studies and graft imaging.
• Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and adapt procedures.
• Analyzes sonograms, correlates with medical history, and communicates findings to radiologist.
• Maintains equipment and work area and supplies.
• Assists in training ultrasound students during clinical rotations.
