Duke Health is hiring an Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in the Duke Vascular Surgery and Vein Center locations in Raleigh, NC. You will work under radiology supervision, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and effective communication with the care team.

The role includes training and coordinating with staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting department operations in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS certified or eligible.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from accredited program meeting registry requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Record and adapt procedures based on anatomy and diagnostic information.
• Interpret and communicate findings to Radiologist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Assist with daily operations of the ultrasound department.
• Complete exam tracking and billing daily.
