Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a vascular ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic testing of extracranial, peripheral and visceral vessels. You will collect data and document test results for reading physicians, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Reviews medical records, takes history and performs physical exam pertinent to vascular disease.
• Performs duplex/Doppler exams per policy; seeks supervisor/physician input as needed.
• Provides preliminary results in EMR; notifies referring physician of significant findings.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and coordinates technical support as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
