Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s St. David's Cardiology in Austin seeks a Vascular Technologist/Sonographer to provide high-quality vascular imaging. You will perform ultrasound procedures, document hemodynamic results, and explain testing to patients, supporting efficient workflow within a busy cardiology unit.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of ultrasound experience, holds ARDMS/ARRT credentials, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience as ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
• Must hold ARDMS or ARRT certification.
• Registered Vascular Tech or Cardiac Sonographer credentials preferred.
• Knowledge of vascular sonography and anatomy essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound procedures as directed by physicians.
• Conduct non-invasive hemodynamic evaluations and document results.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and quality tests.
• Position patients and select proper transducers for imaging.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain exam quality.
