As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be trained to perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations of the deep and superficial venous system of the legs, including anatomy, reflux assessment, and deep vein thrombosis detection, in collaboration with physicians.

Position Details
  • Full-time, first-shift position working Monday through Friday at our St. Louis clinic
Responsibilities
  • Receive on-the-job training for ultrasound examinations of the venous system
  • Create Venous Flow Maps to assist in treatment planning
  • Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients
  • Prepare and clean ultrasound and exam rooms before and after procedures
  • Perform ultrasound exams as required by physicians to ensure safety and effectiveness
  • Maintain efficient patient flow by adhering to time standards for each exam
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure ultrasound coverage and high-quality patient care
  • Maintain and improve skills through continued education and collaboration
  • Manage equipment and supplies for operational efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program
  • Registration as Vascular Technologist (RVT), Vascular Specialist (RVS), Phlebology Sonographer (RpHS), or eligibility to obtain certification within 6 months
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills
