Overview

The Breast Health Care Center offers full screening and diagnostic testing, including digital mammography, ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI, stereotactic biopsies, and bone density scans. It includes digital mammography rooms, ultrasound rooms, a stereo biopsy room, a mobile mammography program, and outreach initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging (abdominal, small parts, obstetrical) for diagnosis or treatment, and assists with needle procedures (biopsies, drainages, needle placements). Vascular imaging may also be performed.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper function and readiness of all equipment.
2. Perform ultrasound examinations and document procedures accurately.
3. Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and at various sites as required.
