Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join its team. You will perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies, partner with vascular surgeons, and contribute to an excellent patient experience.

The ideal candidate has RVT or RVS credentials and 1+ year of vascular sonography experience, preferably with a vascular surgeon. This hourly, non-exempt role involves traveling to clinic sites within the assigned area and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RV T/RVS certification required.
• 1+ years of vascular sonography experience, preferably with a vascular surgeon.
• Solid knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to vascular specialty.
• Understanding of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• HIPAA compliance when using EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

Is This You?

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably working with a vascular surgeon
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
