USA Clinics Group in New Orleans, LA is seeking a part-time Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies focused on the lower extremities while delivering an excellent patient experience.

You will conduct venous insufficiency and duplex studies, document findings, and support a vein clinic environment using PACS and EMR systems. Experience in OB/GYN or abdominal ultrasound is a plus, and certification requirements apply.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.

• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: New Orleans
• Schedule: Part-time Monday (10am-6pm), Tuesday (9am-5pm), Wednesday (8am-4pm)
• Compensation: $41-$49hr based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
