Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Vascular Sonographer to conduct vascular ultrasound exams focused on the lower extremities, ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Location flexibility spans Columbia, Annapolis, Baltimore, Timonium and Pikesville clinics. The position is full-time with compensation of $41-$48 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping and duplex studies preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a patient-focused healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping and duplex exams.
• Possibly perform carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT and PVR as needed.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound exams with accuracy and quality.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: Flexible to work in our Columbia, Annapolis, Baltimore, Timonium, and Pikesville clinic locations
• Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday
• Compensation: $41-$48hr based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
