Job summary

Prima CARE, P.C. in Fall River, MA is seeking a Vascular Sonographer (full-time or part-time) to join its accredited vascular lab. The role requires duplex imaging expertise, physiologic testing, and accurate data reporting.

You must travel between main lab and satellite sites and communicate well with physicians and patients. Ideal candidates hold RVT/RVS credentials, have at least 2 years of clinical experience, and are proficient with Microsoft Word; knowledge of eClinicalWorks EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold the R.V.T. or R.V.S. credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word.
• Must be willing to learn eClinicalWorks EMR.
• Fluency in Portuguese would be a “plus”.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and experience in duplex imaging and physiologic testing, including the choice of exam, patient positioning, acquisition of accurate data, and data reporting.
• Familiarity with modern imaging and testing equipment to create optimum images and obtain accurate data.
• Excellent knowledge of normal and abnormal vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Adhering to policies regarding test performance, scheduling, billing, data recording, equipment maintenance, infection control, and HIPAA.
• Must be willing to travel from main laboratory to satellite sites.
• Communicate effectively with supervising physicians, colleagues, referring physicians, patients, and families.

Compensation

• Compensation will be commensurate with training and experience, and eligibility for benefits will depend on the number of hours worked.
