Job description

Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, ensuring excellent patient service and efficient workflow. This position is Monday - Friday and offers flexibility to work across our clinics in Baltimore (Locust Point), Timonium, Pikesville, Columbia, Rockville, and Annapolis.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients.
3. Set up and clean exam and ultrasound rooms before and after procedures.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians.
5. Adhere to scheduled time allotments to maintain patient flow.
6. Coordinate with staff to ensure ultrasound services are available and efficient.
7. Maintain and develop skills through continued education and interaction with colleagues.
8. Manage equipment and supply inventory.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT / RVS / RpHS), required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
