USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies focused on the lower extremities, ensuring an excellent patient experience across the Altoona, State College, and Johnstown clinics.

You will independently conduct exams, document findings, and support a vein clinic environment. Part-time schedule (25–32 hours/week) with travel training out of state for the first weeks is required. Experience with venous mapping and duplex imaging is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program is required.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images is required.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused care are essential.

• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies and manage images.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal modalities when appropriate.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

Location: Floats between our Altoona, State College, and Johnstown clinics.

Schedule: Part-Time (Monday-Thursday) between 25-32 hours per week.

Must be able to travel train, out of state, for the first 3+ weeks.

Compensation: $40-$47/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required
