Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional procedures to support endovascular services. You will assist in procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and collaborate with surgical teams.

Requirements include ARRT, CPR/BLS, and an Associate degree. On-call duties and holiday coverage may apply; on-site role with strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher not required; associate degree acceptable.
• Completion of Special Procedures Training Program or 1 year experience in Special Procedures.
• Completion of one week sterile technique training program provided by OR education coordinator if no prior Special Procedures experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Provide technologist coverage for 24-hour emergency endovascular surgical services.
• Perform or assist in procedures and diagnostic tests and keep accurate records.
• Educate health care personnel and patients to promote quality care and maintain credentials.
• Perform routine analysis on imaging equipment to minimize downtime.

• Relocation Assistance: $5,000 Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates
• Location: Winston Salem, NC
• Hours: Monday-Friday 0830 to 1700, on-call responsibilities and holiday coverage

Education/Experience

• Associate's degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of Special Procedures Training Program or one year experience as a technologist in Special Procedures.
• Completion of one week sterile technique training program to be provided by the OR education coordinator, if no prior Special Procedures experience or/with surgical technique

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, And/or REGISTRATION

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• CPR certification required - BLS.
• Registered Cardiovascular-Interventional Technologist ( ARRT- CV or VI) preferred.

Essential Functions

• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies. Recognizes and reacts appropriately to potential emergency situations.
• Provides technologist coverage for 24-hour emergency endovascular surgical services.
• Performs or assists in performing procedures and/or diagnostic tests and/or therapeutic exams, as well as maintains files and compiles records according to procedure as required for accurate and current departmental records and/or reports.
• Provides instruction, education and consultation to health care personnel and patients to promote and improve quality patient care and maintains appropriate education/credentials to accomplish work objectives.
• Performs routine analysis on imaging equipment to assure proper working conditions and a minimum of downtime.
