Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the OR/endovascular service. The role involves supporting emergency procedures, imaging, and patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requires ARRT registration, BLS, and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology. Special Procedures experience or training is preferred. Sign‑on and relocation assistance are offered. Hours are typically 40 per week, Mon-Fri with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of Special Procedures Training Program or one year experience as a technologist in Special Procedures.
• Completion of one week sterile technique training program to be provided by the OR education coordinator, if no prior Special Procedures experience or/with surgical technique

Responsibilities

• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Provides technologist coverage for 24-hour emergency endovascular surgical services.
• Performs or assists in performing procedures and/or diagnostic tests and/or therapeutic exams, as well as maintains files and compiles records according to procedure as required for accurate and current departmental records and/or reports.
• Provides instruction, education and consultation to health care personnel and patients to promote and improve quality patient care and maintains appropriate education/credentials to accomplish work objectives.
• Performs routine analysis on imaging equipment to assure proper working conditions and a minimum of downtime
