Job summary

Thevascularcaregroup is seeking a qualified Office-Based Lab (Cath Lab) Nurse to provide nursing services in a vascular setting in Portland, Maine. You will collaborate with clinical leadership and operate under the supervision of the attending surgeon, performing duties within state nursing regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining infection control, patient care from pre-procedure to discharge, documenting records, and ensuring safety and staffing.

Qualifications

• Must be a BSN graduate and Maine-licensed RN.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ICU or ED experience required.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Willing for local/regional assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services in vascular Office-Based Lab setting.
• Oversee patient care from pre-procedure to discharge.
• Maintain patient records and logs.
• Assist with daily operations and QA program.
• Ensure safety and infection control.
• Stock medications and equipment.
• Maintain patient comfort in waiting areas.
