Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our perioperative team.

This role uses the nursing process to provide patient care, upholds patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinates care with other departments in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Education is a graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensure active RN in the state; minimum 1 year perioperative nursing experience; BLS/ACLS within first year; CNOR/RN-FA preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience.
• BLS/ACLS certification within first year.
• CNOR certification and/or RN-First Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
