Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center, the largest hospital in Missouri, seeks a perioperative RN to join a high-acuity surgical team. You will work with RN, RNFA, ST across minimally invasive, heart programs, vascular and transplant services, in a multi-OR setting with advanced technologies.

The role involves direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with an interprofessional team.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN preferred; AD-N considered.
• Strong patient-care skills and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Promotes patient-centered care in a healing environment and educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities and professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and considers cultural and spiritual factors in care planning.
• Maintains safety-sensitive position requirements and performs duties with a high level of alertness.
