Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform vascular imaging using duplex and Doppler techniques, and to provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.

The role requires 1 year of dedicated vascular lab experience or 3 years in general ultrasound, an associate degree or ultrasound program completion, and appropriate RVT/RVS credentials or eligibility. Strong independence and equipment operation are essential.

Qualifications

• One year experience in dedicated vascular lab, or three years full-time experience in general ultrasound.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or graduate of an accredited clinical ultrasound program.
• RVT through ARMDS or RVS through CCI, or eligible to sit for registry exam.
• Must function independently and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing, and support personnel.
• Must operate complex ultrasound equipment and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular imaging using duplex and Doppler techniques.
• Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
• Work independently and consult with ordering/interpreting physicians when needed.
• Ensure patient welfare during outpatient or inpatient testing.
