Job summary

Care New England is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join the Vascular Lab. You will perform non-invasive ultrasound studies, acquire diagnostic images, and ensure protocol compliance to support physician interpretation.

The role involves duplex imaging of carotid, arterial and venous systems, plus physiological testing, QA activities, and ongoing CME to uphold ARDMS and IAC standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree as a baseline qualification for vascular technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related health field.
• Field of study in vascular technology.
• Certified RVT or ARDMS credential targeted within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive vascular testing including duplex studies of carotid, arterial, venous, aorta and mesenteric vessels.
• Acquire diagnostic images and ensure protocol completeness for accurate interpretation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and assist with intraoperative guidance as needed.
• Prepare preliminary reports and communicate critical findings to physicians.
• Maintain safety, infection control and QA processes per IAC/ARDMS guidelines.
