Job summary

Regional Vascular and Vein Institute is seeking a casual Vascular Sonographer to support our physicians. Work is day shift, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., with varied days and no benefits. Certification in RVT/RVS or eligibility is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

You will perform arterial/venous duplex studies, vein mapping, venous ablations, and ultrasound-guided procedures, ensuring data quality and patient care across diverse cases.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARDMS or CCI in the appropriate specialty (RVT/RVS eligible required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, health care personnel, patients, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including visceral vascular exams, extracranial duplex, AVF, arterial duplex, venous duplex, vein mapping and venous insufficiency invasive exams as well as venous ablations and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy/Varthena.
• Performs exams on all types of patients in an efficient and caring manner to provide data for diagnosis.
• Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality while using professional judgment in the performance of services.
• Operates medical diagnostic ultrasound equipment to complete a variety of procedures including abdominal and vascular exams as applicable.
