Job summary

UBMD Surgery in Buffalo, NY is seeking a FULL TIME Vascular Technologist to perform non-invasive vascular examinations including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal duplex tests. You will document results, assist with procedures, and support ongoing education of student technologists.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s in ultrasound or radiologic technology with vascular training; RVT preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in ultrasound or radiologic technology with vascular training.
• RVT credential preferred; must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular tests including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal duplex testing.
• Assist with venous closure procedures and injections.
• Prepare comprehensive test results and provide preliminary interpretations for physicians.
• Maintain and stock examination rooms; ensure cleanliness and equipment functionality.
• Educate and train student vascular technologists; participate in QA and protocol reviews.
